Mounting TV on hardie board

What's the most effective way to mount a TV to hardie board? I'm looking to mount a TV on my back patio wall and it has hardie board siding (concrete siding).

Kinda tricky... you are going to need to mount it to a stud. I think once you drill in to the hardy board it will cause there to be cracks and it wouldn't lack the strength to hold a tV.

I'd recommend looking to do a TV suspended from the ceiling.

No different than any other surface in that you need to mound it to the studs.

I concur with mounting to studs but I would drill a large enough hole through the hardy board to keep it from cracking.
