iPhone not going into sleep mode

How long do you want to ignore this user?
This is frustrating! My phone has stopped going to sleep after the two minutes it is set for.

I have checked the settings, turned it off and back on, done a hard reset, synced it with the computer and updated the software.

I watched it this evening and the screen will dim, but instead of going black it goes back to full brightness and just stays on.

Any ideas of other fixes? If not, should I go back to AT&T store or find an apple repair store?

Hmm, you install any apps recently?

Do you have Assistive Touch turned on?

No new apps.

Assistive touch was off, but I just did a full settings reset. Haven't tested to see if it worked yet.

Do you have a case or screen protector on your phone (either glass or some kind of film)? I've seen some of those cause weird screen quirks like phantom touches.

It's in an otter box, but I've never had this happen until last week.

The setting reset seems to have worked so far.
