I had to send my first iPhone 6 Plus back because the camera wouldn't focus, they sent me a refurbished one. It worked fine for a while until it would no longer take a charge. I contacted apple and they sent me another refurbished one. A week later my third 6 Plus keeps freezing and a white grey area appears from the top. This probably happens 70% of the time. Should I just keep playing the refurbishment game or do I have other options? Can I demand a new phone from Apple? Feel like I'm not getting anywhere.

Try going into an Apple Store and explaining the issues you've been having. I bet they give you a new one.

This. I took my Macbook to them because it was randomly shutting off, and they determined the battery had a dead cell in it. Given the battery was 5 years old, I was going to buy a new one when they grabbed one off the shelf and told me to keep it. Problem was solved.

Are you getting these from Apple or your cell provider? Make a trip to an Apple Store and demand a new one.

The nearest Apple Store is in Dallas. Which is 2.5 hours west of me. Apple is sending me the refurbished ones after chatting with customer service.

Make the trip. Explain the problem and demand a new phone. Odds are you'll get a new phone.

Demand in a nice way. Tell the story about how frustrating it is to go through what you've been through and how you might soon give up and go elsewhere.

It was a long hard lesson for me to learn but its absolutely true: asking nicely will get you what you want a hell of a lot more often than demanding it.

Agree with this wholeheartedly.

Buuuuut. If you are still not getting the results you want turn into a hellbeast. And do it quickly like flipping a switch. Shake em up. That has worked for me on a couple of occasions as well.

My 6+ has been mostly flawless.

However, the gyroscope, or whatever it is that determines orientation of the phone, is buggy. Every update, still buggy. I flip orientation and the phone is a) usually slow or b) doesn't work.

Otherwise, haven't had any of the issues you mention.

I've had the bad camera issue twice (Apple has recalled 6+ iPhones for this issue) and I've had the bent phone issue once. Each incident just took a Genius Bar appointment and I walked out with a new phone every time.

My last three Android phones have worked flawlessly and are endlessly customizable.
