Just an FYI, a launcher is the program that controls your home screen and app drawer. With Android there are a ton of options out there to replace the default one for more customizable options. I've been running Nova launcher for a couple years now since it lets me make a ton of little changes that I want. For instance instead of the default 4 rows by 4 columns of icons I have 6 rows by 5 columns and I have turned off the app titles, for what I think is a cleaner look. I've also downloaded Icon packs to reskin my icons to make them more uniform.
