I just bought a new Samsung 55" smart TV last week.
Watched football all weekend and all was good.
Then sometime this week the picture got reformatted/ resized ( 6 year old son may have had something to do with it)
But now it's not fitted right.. For example the ticket on the bottom of page is cutoff or the score graphic on the left side is cut off.
How do I fix this.?

I even goto tools and choose " screen fit"

Choose 16:9, wide fit, 4:3 and still the same.
Tools menu won't let me choose a zoom

Have you tried resetting it on whatever video device you use? I know my DishNetwork receiver will let me choose the output format.

Have suddenlink.. ( I know I know) .. Will try reset.. Not really sure how

have you looked at the user guide that came with the TV? or tried to DL the userguide for your TV from the internet?

Yeah the literature that came with TV just says to choose tools menu and then rest picture size by choosing options available.

That works but the picture is still " zoomed in" so to speak because the graphics are cut off on left and right and bottom of screen.

Think Wildman is correct.. Gotta reset it they the cable box output.
Because I have checked everything thru the tv and nothing is correcting it.

maybe it is the cable box then. i dont have suddenlink, but i have had multiple different cable providers (TWC/uverse) where pressing the # key next to the zero will adjust the resolution of the cable box from widescreen/16:9/4:3/etc.

so maybe look into the suddenlik side of things (or just mash the # key).

I have kids and have learned to apply the edit lock to any electronic device that will allow it. Those friggin little button mashers can do the impossible with a remote!

I've always had issues with this on my TV. I have the settings to where they need to be, but the score on MNF are cut off and I can't get it to show. No issues with CFB games.

isnt there a button for that?
