Any suggestions? Currently have wireless set up. Would much rather have house hard wired. We have the outlets in place, but it doesn't seem like they're connected to anything.

Don't have the tools, talent, time or patience to do this.

What do you mean by you have the outlets? You have RJ45 wall plates? If you unscrew them, is there a wire attached?

We do, and no there's no wire attached.

Huh, that's really weird. I was lucky in that in my home, they ran cat 5e for the phone lines which I was able to change to Internet. Since you don't want to drop any lines yourself, are you just looking for a company who will? Where are you at?

Then hire a professional and be done with it.

You could try powerline adapters and see if it gives you enough of what you're after. Not as good as hard wired, but seems the general consensus is that it is much, much better than wifi everywhere.

Yes, looking for a pro to do this. In Sugar Land.
