How long do you want to ignore this user?
in firefox specifically.

tired of crap starting up and slowing the loading of the stuff I want to see. Google has not been my friend so far. Didn't want to start throwing random extensions at it unless it was Texags Nerdery approved.

For that matter same with Ad Choices ads.

My favorite is the FlashStopper plugin for Firefox, which I believe stops auto-play on both Flash & HTML5 videos.

The best part is, the "blocked" videos show as freeze-frame images rather than black boxes, so you know what it is & whether to click on on it (I.e., an ESPN highlight video).

Thanks!

Ad Blocker Plus seems to be doing the trick for now. Will look at the flash one if issues arise.

If you use Adblock Plus, use Adblock Edge instead.

The Adblock Plus folks had signed sponsorships to "allow" certain ads (they sold-out to the man).
The Adblock Edge is based on the same code without allowing those ad exceptions.
