My Epson 730 print head is clogged. Specifically, the yellow color will not print. I've tried cleaning the print head through the printer controls, but it's not working. When I do nozzle check, all the other colors print, but yellow. It's been acting up lately (streaky prints, poor colors) and it would always start working again when I did a print head clean. Now I can't get it fixed.
I've found a few youtube videos on manually flushing the head, but none of them show how to get the print head out so it can be flushed.
I really like the printer. It has a good sized paper storage tray, also storage tray for 4x6 or 5x7 photo paper (so I don't have to feed from the rear) and prints labels printable
DVD/CD's.
Unfortunately, the entire line of the Artisan series has been discontinued so I can't replace it and not have to buy a new CISS system.
So I either buy a new one and trash this one, or maybe spend an hour trying to fix it and I can't get it unlcogged, buy another printer.
