I'm way out of the game here. We are updating our basement and buying an 85 inch tv (that's another discussion) and want in wall/ceiling surround sound. Anybody have experience with the Klipsch R 5800 W II in wall speakers?

I don't own the Klipsch, but did quite a bit of research when picking in-ceilings for my game room. Spicewood knows more than me and may object, but it really seems like no in-wall is going to sound great because "the box", ie "your wall" is too large. There are a few out which actually do come in a housing and are supposed to sound better, but are tougher to install. Long story short, no in-wall sounds great, so don't break the bank. I got some in ceiling speakers cheap off monoprice and they are fine for surrounds.

Thanks for the input. We want a minimalist look and don't want to see the speakers.

If at all possible, use inwall speakers for the front three, aiming them to the listener. The center could be right below the panel.

I understand why people use them.

An alternative is thin on wall speakers. Many companies make them now because of the popularity of wall mounted TVs. In addition to better sound in general, you won't be cutting big holes in the sheetrock.

I'm going through putting in walls in my house right now. I listened to some Klipsch and found them to have too much "highs" in them. I would describe them as being very bright. Ymmv and everyone's ear is different though.
I zeroed in on Triad's and Totem's in wall speakers because they came with a back box like a traditional speaker. I'm getting the Totem Kin's installed next week after lots of auditions. I probably would have gone with the Triads, but they were just a little too big for the space I had in the walls.
I think my main takeaway was that the sub is going to be super important because there are not a lot of lows coming out of the enclosed in wall speakers.

Very common response to the Klipsh horn tweeters. People either love them or hate them.
