Apparently Google apps will not sync with Microsoft office 2013 if you have office pre-installed on your computer (instead of purchasing a stand alone office box). Has anyone figured out a work around on this that does not require a computer science degree?? Thanks in advance!

Yes - google business aps. Our company ises that for email and for shared calendars. It's worked great until now. They apparently did away with the old calendar sync. Now you can only do it through google business aps. It supposedly works great with one exemption - it is not compatible with office 2013 on click versions (pre-installed retail software). I'm guessing that prob 90 percent of new computers come this way. Surely someone else has run I to this?

It won't work together. We're a small company and went back to Office 2010, because we like the sync feature better than the Office upgrade. We reviewed Google complaints, talked with Google, and worked with our IT consultant who also confirmed there's no solution. If you go that route you can't just uninstall Office 2013, because there's a lot of ghost files. We had to restore back to factory settings to get rid of Office 2013. Sorry.

We are on 2010 which broke some salesforce integration. Turns out there was a workaround, but only if you were on 32-bit 2010 and we have 64-bit. Sucks.
