Is my calculator toast/messed up? Or is there a mode I need to toggle?
For reference, it is in Degrees mode.
Example:
Trying to enter 45^45'45":
Type 45, [2nd], [math], [F3], [F1]
Type 45, [2nd], [math], [F3], [F3]
Type 45, [2nd], [math], [F3], [F3]
This shows as 45^45'45' on the command line, and when I hit enter results in 2058.75. I was expecting 45.7625.
If I enter: 45^45'
Type 45, [2nd], [math], [F3], [F1]
Type 45, [2nd], [math], [F3], [F3]
Hitting enter results in 2025.
It appears to use the "^ (degrees)" symbol as a multiplication, and not sure what the "minutes" sign is used for, also, the TI-86 doesnt appear to have a "seconds" symbols.
Anyone familiar with the TI-86?
