Does anyone have a recommendation for an IR repeater that is compatible with the Uverse cable boxes?

I have a basic setup with my cable box, DVD player and receiver behind a wood cabinet door.

I've read that not all IR repeaters are compatible with Uverse boxes.

Anyone else had success with this?

The Cables to go IR repeater worked for me, but you had to position it in a weird location on the STB (experiment with positioning)

They have an rf remote you can buy as well. I want to say it us called Point Anywhere or something like that.
