Getting ready to cut cable completely. I see that I could use the Play-On ap to watch ESPN and ESPN3 on the PS3, but since ESPN3 has been supplemented by the WatchESPN ap I'm not going to be able to watch the Ags if they are on any channel besides ESPN, CBS, SEC Network.

Will the the Play-On app work to stream the other ESPN Channels to my PS3 or am I SOL.

Is there a way to get the "Watch ESPN" set up to work on my PS3? I can use my in-laws x-finity account log in to get it on my PC, but how do I get it to the PS3?

Honestly I'm not sure. I read your post a while back and never tried it. BUT there is another thread about playon so maybe the people know on there or they may of answered your question already.

My experience is I tried to access WatchESPN directly through the PS3 browser, and it told me that it didn't have the correct version of Flash.

I used Playon or something like it last year to try to stream WatchESPN to the Wii, which has an even worse version of Flash, and it didn't work out too well.

Supposedly its browser can access WatchESPN (and HBOGo). Fingers crossed.
