TI-83, TI-89 or HP 10 bII? Are there any other calculators I should check out?

My vote:

but seriously, I'm only familiar with Ti's. Ti-89 would be good if you are going to do engineering math/physics/chemistry. The 83 will easily do the job for your business-level classes.

The HP-12C.

You know what they say - once you go RPN, you don't go back.

Finance books and CFA study guides are written assuming it is what you are using.

RPM takes about 30 minutes to figure out and then you won't ever want to switch back.

If you want to be viewed as someone that knows their **** get an HP-12c.

Finance - HP-12C
Accounting/Auditing - TI
