iphone bluetooth pairing PIN?

I am trying to pair my iphone with a bluetooth device, and my phone keeps asking for a PIN. I have tried every PIN that I have used and nothing worked. Then, after a GIS, I tried using the last 4 digits of my phone number, and also 0000. Still not working. Any suggestions?

do you have paperwork with the other device? That's where the PIN originates if the iPhone is asking for one.

I just looked in the instruction manual and it didn't have one listed, so I may have to call the company and find out.

alright, It is a Clarion CX501 radio, and after doing some more searching on their website, I found that the code to use is 1234. Kinda like the code some a-hole would have on their luggage!

No it works like a charm.
