Amazon...no tax and cheaper than most retails places. You can also get a refurb through the Apple store online.

+1 for MacMall. Their prices are usually equal to or a tiny bit better than most other places, and as the other poster said, there are usually free goodies. I got a free printer and free copy of Parallels with mine.

Are these refurbed or stripped down in any way?

Looking at the specs on 21.5" IMAC and it looks to be current w/what the Apple store online has.

No. They are not stripped down. Just an Apple reseller. Apple charges full price + tax. McMall is a bit cheaper, no tax, + freebies. No reason to get it from Apple.

Also if you are interested in Applecare warranty, buy it later on Ebay. You can save tons of money.
