All of my HD channels work fine except for channel 206 (ESPN HD). This is true for both of my tv's and has been going on for a few months but now that football is upon us, I really want to get it corrected. Any ideas?

My ESPN2 stopped working for a while (just comes up with that signal... message) it says you can reset your cable box or something. There's steps provided on screen I believe.


Try calling them up, see if they can force anything on their end. I think my ESPN 2 came back up... it was during a storm, so I'm assuming that was the case which is different than yours.

Look into that resetting of the box method.

thanks for the reply...I've tried the reset, checked the connections, etc but nothing works. Sometimes the channel does not come up, but usually it comes up but is very blurry. DirecTV did a so called "engineering test" on it but nothing changed. Seems very strange that it would be on both tv's - which would make me think it's the satellie - but why would it only be on ESPN?

I was having the same kind of trouble with two of my DirecTv channels (ESPN and TNT maybe). I could get the SD selection but not the HD ones. Called and they sent out a guy to re-aim my dish. He said it was way out of alignment.

Yeah this sounds more and more like a dish alignment issue... I'd see if you can schedule someone to come out.

Or maybe a tree/building/anything in the way?
