To be honest, picture calibration is all subjective. Sure, color accuracy, deep blacks and bright whites are nice...but it all comes down to what you, the user, wants and likes. I set my Sammy LCD to the AVS forums specs and then later tweaked them to fit my taste. Professional or at least semi-professional settings are a good starting place, but your opinion is ultimately what matters. As a side note, I do like that the recommendation was to set sharpness low. This wouldn't normally occur to people, thinking sharper is better, but turning it down really smooths out rough edges.
