What is the verdict? Is this cheating for an edge similar to Tom Brady's footballs or does NE get a pass for no big deal? I don't know if this breaks any rules but the evidence makes it look pretty damning.

It is cheating, unless they do the exact same thing when they kick field goals. You cant manipulate the building to change the visible environment. Imagine if Jerry had a giant curtain he could raise and lower depending on which way the Cowboys offense was going.

Is there a rule against it?

If there is a rule against changing the environment or field conditions then I would say it's cheating.

I find it hard to imagine they've been doing it for 20 years like the graphic says and no one caught on…

Seems like visiting kickers would have said something calling it out

And cowboys absolutely should raise and lower a curtain depending on who's on offense going either way

The game is football not stadium manipulation ball. Winning and losing should come down to the players and coaches. With fans helping add energy and support.

Should the Texans be able open up their stadium, turn on the heaters on opposing teams side and blast big fans and a/c on the home sideline?

I mean you could argue home field advantage is against the rules….

I'm not saying patriots video board is or isn't against the rules..but it definitely adds a home field advantage

Didn't the sips do something like this where the opposing kicker would have to look into a strobe-like scoreboard?

It all seems bush league to me and shouldn't be allowed.

Anyone else remember the accusations of the Giants using the tunnels at the old Meadowlands to create wind blowing against opposing teams' kickers?
God loves you so much He'll meet you where you are. He also loves you too much to allow to stay where you are.
