Who do you guys see as an ultimate sleeper on fantasy draft boards? Someone going middle to late of most mocks but has serious upside?

QB: Kyler Murray (if you totally punt on QB)
WR: Chris Bell or Malik Washington (Miami wr room)
RB: only sleeper is probably an injury away kind of guy
TE: Fanin, Likely and Pitts.

I think it's Caleb Williams.

Every single expert is dinging him for his completion %. It's generally the only negative they talk about. It's not his ability, or his lack of weapons, or his offensive scheme. It's also not that their defense will be good, because they won't be.

The first year of a Ben Johnson offense is notoriously difficult. Even for a seasoned vet like Goff his completion % dropped in his first year with Ben Johnson. For a QB in his 2nd year, that's especially difficult. I think it's unfair to criticize his completion %. He lead them to a playoff win and only threw 7 picks. He also provided 400 yards rushing and 3 TDs. Also, not all completions are the same. Know who had the second highest completion % last year? Tua! did that make Tua and elite QB?! If Caleb makes 1 to 2 more completions per game he's at 65-67%. See how nuanced that argument is? 1 to 2 more completions per game..that's all.

Not sure Caleb Williams counts as a sleeper. He's currently going QB7

Couple late WRs I have flagged

Cyrus Allen
Jalen Nailor
Ryan Flournoy
Ja'Kobi Lane

If you really want to punt on QB Cam Ward could be a good late (like undrafted late). I don't usually carry 2 QBs in our 1 QB league but I'm seriously thinking about taking him with my last pick as a stash or a handcuff if I end up with a risky QB like Kyler or Jaxon Dart.

He said mid to late rounds. CW is going in the 7th.

Why do you think you need Cam Ward on your roster? What would he have to do week 1 for people to be like okay im going to roster him as my second qb?

If you think Cam Ward could breakout, I think the better play is to use a roster spot on Wandale Robinson. If he gets 80 yards and a TD you might have something.

*note I dont have any faith in cam ward or the titans team.

Just as a sorta backup option if I end up taking a risky high ceiling low floor QB.

If I'm taking a RD 15/16 flier on a WR or RB why not a QB?

To me it really is this question: if Cyrus allen catches 5 passes for 80 yards on the WW everyone is going to try to add him and his FAAB cost will be significant. If Cam Ward throws 3 TD passes you could add him for $1 FAAB at the worst. Probably free. I just dont see a way that Cam Ward has a week 1 game that makes people think, gee that guy is going to be something. He was (and this preseason has looked) so bad last year.

The whole idea is, why roster someone who you can add for free anyways?

I like the Steelers RB's -- Warren and Dowdle -- both have an ADP around #75

7th round pick in 12-team leagues; 8th round pick in 10-team leagues

Rodgers is not going to suddenly start throwing downfield again. Will be checking down from the 1st quarter on

good RB3 / flex picks -- especially if you go WR heavy to begin your draft

Ja'Kobi Lane

This is the way. Especially if the charges against Bateman stand. That guy's looking at jail time if legit

No one has mentioned Stribling yet but not sure if he even qualifies as a sleeper at this point

I will also take a late round flyer on either Jonah Coleman or Emmett Johnson. Their RB1's are just injuries waiting to happen

Stribbling is the most awake sleeper sleeper.

In some respects i think he still counts though. If you think he is the WR1 for the 49ers he could be a top 20WR. Of course he is also a rookie so he could not be those things as well.

If he's not the #1 right now he will be shortly. Once Mike finally pulls his "out for 8 weeks" hammy. Which is already giving him issues. Kirk unfortunately is not much of a threat at this point. Deebo is a glorified RB. Kittle is Stribling's main competition for targets. And he's also an injury waiting to happen

I agree with all of that.

I do think if Stribbling is the WR1, especially because of injury, the 49ers will go and get someone. A Jakobi, Addison, BTJ, Michael Wilson, Jerry Judy level of guy.
