I wonder why....

I have been informed by NBC that I won’t be back with FNIA this fall and it has given me time to reflect and also to look ahead.

it's interesting...

Dungy only played 3 years in the league

and he was a head coach for 13 years -- winning 1 Super Bowl

based upon that...Gary Kubiak should get in the Hall of Fame someday too

Except that Dungy won a SB as head coach. And had 61 more wins as HC with only 2 more losses than Kubiak. But other than that, sure.

Ha! Completely forgot he was HC, my bad. So yeah he has the ring but the wins are not even in the same league as Dungy.

That said, I could see a committee vote on getting him in down the road with his contributions to offensive philosophy still being felt to this day.

I, unlike many, admit when I'm wrong. I'm still right about Kubiak's HOF credentials not being in the same stratosphere as Dungy.

ESPN should consider a First Take-type show with Dungy, except have it after the evening SportsCenter.

It could be with Tony Dungy and someone equally bland and monotone, like George Seifert, and called Last Take sponsored by NyQuil. Their target audience would be anyone who has trouble falling asleep at night.
