Ok, now that most of the sought after assistants are free to do final interviews it's time to call your shot!

Cowboys
Bears
Jets
Jaguars
Saints
Raiders

My guess is
Cowboys: Kellen Moore
Bears; Mike McCarthy
Jets: Aaron Gleen
Jaguars: Ben Johnson
Saints: Joe Brady
Raiders; Pete Carroll

Pete Carroll to the Raiders will mean 3 of the 4 coaches in the AFC West will have won a Super Bowl, the 4th guy will have lost in one, but will have a CFP National Championship.

I've seen some Carroll references to Joe Biden on twitter. I don't think that is accurate.

Would think at some point the jets would try an offensive minded coach.

Interesting timing, I guess Cohen told the jags they had to fire Baalke before he would sign? This is a lot of power given to someone that's never been a head coach, and only been a coordinator at a high level for 4 years.

I also missed this:

I don't know about trusting my franchise to someone who you can't trust their word

Well, Carrol to Las Vegas. Sounds like Cowboys are ultimately staying in-house and its going ro be Brian Schottenheimer. Rex Ryan most likely will be defensive coordinator apparently. Not sure how I feel about that. He rubs me the wrong way. But if he can fix the D then…

Damn, that would be such a downer...not that kellen moore was that much better, but still, talk about a let down going into the offseason.

On Friday, NFL insider Adam Schefter of ESPN reported that the Las Vegas Raiders are closing in on hiring Pete Carroll as their next head coach. He is only the second coach in team history that the team has hired after having won a Super Bowl with another team, with Jon Gruden being the first.

Carroll led the Seattle Seahawks on back-to-back Super Bowl appearance in 2013 and 2014, winning it all in Super Bowl XLVIII. Two of the coaches that Carroll had to overcome to simply reach that Super Bowl win are now his division rivals: Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton and Los Angeles Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Between Carroll, Payton, Harbaugh and Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, the AFC West head coaches have a combined nine Super Bowl appearances and five wins (three for Reid, one each for Payton and Carroll). Carroll and Harbaugh also boast two national title wins between them.
