let's see em

suspect there's a lot of common names, had 4 of the top ones with only 1 drafted in the first 10 rounds (Tyreek, Puka, Kyren, Mostert) I rarely burn early season waiver priority and save it but paid off big with the Rams duo this year

first my bench, which could've prob won many playoffs at full health alone
(+had to drop Justin Herbert)

overstacked at RB all season but the depth came in clutch for playoffs with everyone going down, only had 2-3 of my first 10 picks starting down the stretch

lost a handful of fluke matchups and even missed out on the bye with 3 seed but scored a league high 2000+pts with near 150ppg avg

was the only team determined to roll out quad RB's every wk even despite PPR which was tough to contend with

thought I was sunk after declining a Hurts+Henry for Herbert+JT trade before both got hurt (recognized it as a solid offer just didn't like Hurts 'cake' playoff schedule and assumed they would've clinched by then) but managed to survive and take down that team in the championship for a 4 figure payout

my best team:

QB Dak
WR1 Lamb
WR2 Puka
TE Kelce
RB1 Kyren
RB2 Gibbs
Flex Achane
K Aubrey
D/ST San Fran

drafted 9th of 10 teams

1st pick - Kelce
2nd - Lamb
3rd - Gibbs
4th - Pierce
5th - Herbert
6th - Keenan
12th - Achane

Dak was drafted by another team but dropped after week 6

had the #2 waiver position to begin the season and used it on Kyren for week 2

surprise league winner:

QB - Tua for most of the season -- switched to Carr for the final
WR1 A.J. Brown
WR2 D.K.
WR3 Ridley
TE Kelce
RB1 Mostert / Achane
RB2 Kamara
Flex Pacheco
K Aubrey
D/ST - streamed - picked up Houston D/ST for final

drafted 12th of 12 teams

1st pick - Kelce
2nd - A.J. Brown
3rd - Ridley
4th - D.K.
5th - Pacheco
6th - Kamara
7th - Mostert
10th - Tua

had good fortune in that the team stayed healthy for essentially the entire season -- especially the 3 mid-round RB picks. No major injuries

My rag tag team that came within 2 points of winning it all

Carr
Zeke
Zamir
Tyreek
Puka
Jeudy
Trey McBride
B Aubrey
Jags def

Started the year with Burrow, Jacobs, Dameon Pearce, Brian Robinson, Christian Kirk and Hockenson as well and watched slowly either get injured or just go completely to sh** right when I needed them most. Minor miracle I even made it to the SB

10 Team, 1pt PPR. Finished overall points leader, the team that finished second was No. 2. I started the season 0-2.

QBs: Dak, Stafford
  • Played Kirk at first. Glad I hung on to Dak though.
RBs: Kyren, R. White, Mixon, Singletary, Z. White.
  • Saw that Cam A. was a healthy scratch and picked up Kyren 3 min before kickoff. He blew up against SF. I would not have got him off waivers. Mixon and R. White both pretty healthy all year helped. 1pt ppr White was pretty solid. Several other spot starts from RBs.
  • Had Achane, but dropped him before he went off. Worked out but that one hurt.
WRs: D. Adams, Puka, Nico
  • I dropped other bench WRs going into the finals to get RBs and Defenses I didn't want to face. I rostered 3 defenses round one of the playoffs, 2 in round 2.
  • I picked Puka up after week 1, Nico after week 2.
TE: Kelce
  • Kelce was alright, but I probably wouldn't take him in the first round again.
K: J. Elliot
Def: Weekly stream, though I picked badly for the champ game with LV.

Top 11 most rostered players on championship winning teams in all yahoo leagues:

CMC: 30.09% of championship teams
Mostert: 22.41%
Kyren: 21.91%
Josh Allen: 21.71%
Tyreek: 21.44%
Kamara: 20.84%
Brandon Aubrey: 20.06%
Hurts: 19.75%
Cleveland Browns D/ST: 18.4%
CeeDee Lamb: 18.38%
Puka Nacua: 17.66%

in my runner up team that lost in the 'ship, I had Hurts and Kamara on that list; lost to a team with Allen & Tyreek... they had DJ Moore go off for the wk17 championship though.

in my 9th place team, I had Kyren and Aubrey on that list- clearly wasn't enough. The champion in that league had CMC & Mostert.. he had Pacheco go off in the 'ship with Mostert out though.

Forgot about Gus, I started him through his mid season run. I also started Foreman the game he went for 3 tds. Didn't carry them to the end though.

The fact I won my Championship was amazing. The final was 133.78 to 92.06. Opponent had McCafferey, Pollard, Njoku, Cook, etc. I was pretty worried after the Dallas/Detroit game Saturday night but he had some stinkers on Sunday, obviously.

$3000 payout for the championship and I was sweating it in the early Sunday games!

Whoop!! Won my $ championship, am getting hang of waiver management and started posting on the weekly threads more this year…

Eeked into playoffs at 7-7. We've all been there, but lost 5 of those by 3 or less points and started 2-6, so ended season strong.
Also, wouldn't have changed outcome, but opponent was traveling and made rookie mistake leaving Cooper in….

Good week for your team to blow up!

Before this year I last played in 2017, had Todd Gurley and won. I went back and looked at his stats in the playoffs just nuts.

Week 15
Rush: 22-152-3
Rec: 3-28-1

Week 16
Rush: 22-118-0
Rec: 10-158-2

456 yds and 6 tds over two games.

QB: Stroud
RB: Gibbs + Breece Hall
WR: Davante Adams + Mike Evans
TE: Isaiah Likely
FLEX: Saquon + Kyren Williams
K: Matt Gay
D/ST: Buffalo

Had three of the top 5 RB in playoff scoring. Mike popped in the Semis and Davante did the same in the final to carry me home. This roster was the least I've ever trusted a good fantasy team, lucked my way to a 10-4 regular season record with the lowest PA in the league, but it all came together at the right time.
