KJ Osborn looks like a logical waiver add for those who lost JJ, like I did in two leagues. oof.

...and why do the updates say Jefferson was placed on IR, but Yahoo still has him with an "NA" status so he can't be placed in the IR spot on the day waiver claims have to be placed?

Both JJ and Achane are candidates for IR according to PR coming out of both teams.

Emari Demercado is JCs backup he looked impressive imo after Connor went down if you have a spot I'd pick him up

JWJ or Demarcado? ... is Achane or Conner's injury worse? considering waiver priority for ROS or just week 6 / 7 pickup

JWJ better team around him and I think he'll eat into Moserts work a lot more than expected

ad a JJ owner myself I'm concerned the Vikes blow it up and trade Cousins they've got a lot of holes on their roster and I could see a team like the Jets perhaps move a first or second round pick for a one year rental like Kirk Cousins

My wife had JWJ in IR spot in case this happened so I guess I'll have her get demarcado

Edit: although she still has pollard, saquon, Jerome ford, JWJ even after losing Achane so maybe not a huge need.

My QBs are Kirk and Dak. I also have Kyler in IR spot. I'm leaning no, and see if I can get him after waivers.

I traded DHop last week, making myself thin at WR, but I had to upgrade my RB- got Swift for him. ...so of course JJ gets hurt two days later.

My only WRs now are Olave, Garrett Wilson, and Rashee Rice. I'm #5 waiver priority so I assume my first claim has to be for a WR - Jakobi Meyers or KJ Osborn? GPickens is also out there, but he's on bye- maybe i can snag him as a FA tomorrow morning if no one uses a waiver on him.

My second waiver claim could be for one of the other WRs above or for JWJ or Demarcado, even though I imagine they'll be gone already. My RBs are Swift, Kyren, Mattison, and Khalil and Javonte who are both also hurt right now.

My QB Anthony Richardson also went down this week. Have Trevor Lawrence on bench, but I also see Stafford and Howell available. .. stick with Lawrence or drop him for one of those?

I have A. Richardson as a backup to Tua T. I am wondering if i should drop him for Sam Howell or Baker Mayfield? Tua T has week 10 bye coming up in a few weeks, so am starting to make a plan for that. What yall think, Howell, Baker Mayfield?

I wouldn't waste a roster spot with a backup QB. Plug in whoever is available when week 10 rolls around.

Howell wk 10 is @SEA and Baker wk 10 is vs TEN. Not worth holding either for the next four weeks. I think I'd hold AR in the IR spot for the next few weeks if you can - he could be back at full strength by wk 10 and plays NE.

Tua screwed me up last season with those back to back scary concussions. I still think he's one hit away from early retirement after those ones last season. If i was rolling with Tua this season, I think I'd consider holding a solid backup rather than just waiting for the bye week to stream.

Stafford is available and I was gonna grab him, but he has the same bye week as Tua T, so I had to default to Howell, Baker M as backup option. Stroud is also available.

I would still just pick up the next best available guy if/when that happened. The difference between guys like Baker, Howell, and Stafford is going to be very minimal. Like 1-2 points per week on average.

but this guy already has AR on his bench and can probably now stash him in an IR spot for a weeks. if healthy, AR is more than 1-2 points better per week than Howell, Stafford, et al. AND will have a better matchup than all those guys in w10 when Tua is on bye

As an Achane owner I'm glad I picked up Jeff Wilson Jr as a FA last week.

I scooped him as an IR stash but looks like I'm gonna need him.

PPR - Seems nice problem to have, but opinions are varying a lot early this week with following 3: Meyers, D Samuel or Olave as my flex? I have Lamb and Adams starting.

Then have Montgomery and planning Pacheco to start. But have Mattison and B Hall, with varying opinions on these two.

fpros ppr week 6 rankings has Olave at WR#16, Deebo #19, and Jakobi at #30... but considering how poorly NE is playing and the number of targets Jakobi is getting, I wouldn't fault you for throwing him in at flex over Olave and Deebo.

Breece might have higher projections and week 6 rankings than Pacheco at most places you look, but I really like Pacheco vs that DEN _efense.

ATL (v WAS) WAS gives up the 4th-most ff points to defenses, but ATL defense hasn't scored ff points vs anyone yet this year
CLE (v SF) CLE looks great on stopping the run and keeping scores down, but don't score ff points and this is SF this week
LV (v NE) NE gives up the 2nd most ff points to defenses, but LV has only had one decent d/st scoring game so far this year
MIN (@CHI) CHI gives up the 5th most ff points to defense, but MIN aint done sheet this year except one game and CHI has come alive all of a sudden last two weeks

re: Demarcado, if Keontay Ingram returns from his two week absence, he's the real James Conner backup, right? not Demcado? I haven't seen any updates on Keaontay, but I think I'm going to refrain from putting a claim in for demarcado.
