- 1 Target. 0 Catches.
- Played 90% of the snaps.
- 18 pass attempts for Desmond Ridder.
- Massively talented WR but the problem is Arthur Smith is his coach.

What to do with him? Start him? Bench him? Or try to trade for him?

I mean he played 90 % of the snaps so clearly he did something - very strong blocker
Plus it's game 2 - not sure why the Falcons would bench him

Matthew Berry talked about this

the hope is that Taylor Heinke takes over at some point

DeRidder is not good at the forward pass

very difficult to start London in games that project as low-scoring and/or the Falcons can keep the score close

maybe in week 3 at Detroit...London would be a good start

Bench him...you can't get any value in a trade right now. Kicking myself for buying in and overlooking Arthur Smith's dumbass.

I hate Arthur Smith. It is unbelievable that he has two top-10 draft picks at WR and TE and makes no effort to get either of them involved in games. Then he gets up to the podium postgame, and when he was asked about their usage, he said they don't care, they just want to win. I can guarantee that is not the case...London is going to hate it when he sees his contemporaries like Garrett Wilson or Chris Olave getting mega deals on their second contract, and he gets lowballed to leave ATL after putting up 463 yards this year. Also, he was all smug about the fact they won...bro you beat a team that drafted in the top four, started a rookie QB, and has no pass-catching weapons at all. Won't be so funny when you are trying to pound the rock down three scores against a real team.

Not just that but when asked about underutilizing London he said something to the effect of "I'll leave that to the Fantasy guys. I don't care and Drake doesn't care."
Yea I'm sure Drake doesn't care…smh

Such a stupid thing to say. I doubt Drake London has the safety net of having a billionaire father if he flops in the NFL like Smith surely will.

Drake Landon's 4 year, $21.5MM rookie contract is fully guaranteed…he'll be fine.

You can't start him. Options are to try to flip him immediately for a discount or as part of a 2 for 1, or hold and wait for him to pop. If you're doing the latter, you better hope that pop is pretty soon. If it was me I'd shop him now for a different position that was drafted 2-3 rounds after Drake.

Agree with this...if you are trying to flip him, though, I don't think you will be able to get value that makes it worth it.

I took him ahead of Chris Godwin, Christian Kirk, Mike Williams, JSN, Lockett, Zay Flowers, James Cook, Isaiah Pacheco, Brandin Cooks, Jamaal Williams, Diontae Johnson, Mike Evans, among others.

I don't think there as any chance the guys who have Godwin, MikeWill, Lockett, JSN, Zay, James Cook, and Mike Evans are considering taking that deal.

I would rather hold London over the likes of Christian Kirk, Isaiah Pacheco, Brandin Cooks, Jamaal Williams, and some of the others.

It is a tough spot to be in.

If the waivers go my way I'm dropping him for Nacua. Plenty of fish in the WR sea and if Nacua goes belly up after Kupp returns I can most likely pull a more productive WR out of the pile than London

Sad that a guy so talented gets so underutilized

I dropped & added Josh Reynolds. Nobody around here has a clue about him or the Lions. Him, Goff, St. Amon & Montgomery are huge sleepers behind an absolute badass NFL Pro Bowl OL, imo, disclaimer; first timer - getting hammered in league play.
