It's awful. The games are always sloppy, Im the players absolutely hate it because of the quick turnaround. I read an interview with a fairly famous lineman, can't remember who, during the first couple of seasons of TNF talking about how long it takes a player's body to recover week by week and how damaging a Thursday game was
In a normal Sunday to Sunday, it was Ssomething like Monday, you don't even hardly move unless you have to go to the grocery store or something at your kid's school, Tuesday's practice is really light and mostly just meetings and film study and trainer's table, and Wednesday is your first real practice where you're acutally going full tilt. Then Thursday and Friday you're really focused on how we're going to win this game this week against this opponent.
Thinking of all that compressed into 3 days really sucks. And selfishly, it ruins FFL as well. I never start my guys on Thursday no matter how good they are (Travis Kelce the exception) because with both teams perpetually banged up and fatigued, you're way more likely to have a 13-7 game than a 31-28 game.
