As a Broncos fan, can't argue they've been terrible and the buck stops at the head coach. But I'd take Hackett for another 5 years if we could do a take back on the Wilson trade. He's been atrocious, the team hates him and is the biggest reason the Broncos have been bad this year.
Lou Holtz & Bobby Petrino didn't last a full year in their HC stints with the Jets & Falcons, but they weren't fired. They both left to become HC at Arkansas.Iraq2xVeteran said:
Nathaniel Hackett went 4-11 and become only the 4th NFL head coach to be fired without lasting one season. This is the 2nd year in a row that a team firses an NFL head coach before the end of the season. The previous 3 such NFL head coaches were:
2021: Urban Meyer (Jacksonvile Jaguars 2-11)
1978: Pete McCulley (San Francisco 49ers 1-8)
1949: John Whelchel (Washignton Redskins 3-3-1)
