How successful have y'all ever been in doing trades pretty close after a draft?

Auction style league, kept Mixon and drafted Cook because I was just bidding based on value and liked what Cook was going for.

Got Brady for QB1, Watson to come in later because it's a super flex essentially, and scattered around a **** ton of WRs, just hoping one will pop. Wanted a better QB2 option but was outbid on all the bottom tier QBs.

Thinking I may need to shop Cook or Mixon early to try and balance things out. My only other RB is Carter but we can get by with starting just one RB if we want:

16 team
1 QB
1 RB
1 RB/WR
2 WR
1 TE
1 OP
1 K
1 D/ST
5 Bench

I tried one year and no one traded and it tanked my tram out of the gate.
