Snubs the Browns. Who says you're the #1 overall pick anyhow? There are red flags all over the place with Rosen. I hope he does wind up with the Giants. They will be dealing with his attitude for years.

Well, we are talking about the Browns here, so he has some history with former QBs to go on.

yeah, Giants would be really pissed off to get a QB in the first round that refused to play for the team with the #1 pick. no way that could work out for them.

What you did there... I see it.

Any player should say they don't want to play for the Browns. Going there is a death wish for your career.

Rosen is very outspoken and, um, very high on his own abilities.

he would be a bad match for any team that will still be losing for a few years (e.g. Browns) or any teams in a tough media market (e.g. New York)

OP you realize lots of NFL QBs have turned their noses at certain teams, right? Eli Manning refused to play for the Chargers and ended up with the Giants. Elway refused to play for the Colts after they drafted him #1 overall and forced a trade to Denver. If Rosen can play nobody will care that he didnt want to play for ****ty Cleveland.

Privately, Rosen has expressed concern about winding up in Cleveland and would rather be with a more stable franchise, such as the Giants.

The horror!

If he wants more than a rookie contract it's a smart move. Who was the last successful Browns QB?

Basically he's admitting that he can't turn that team into a winner. How is that arrogance?

The current Browns' run might just be more impressive than the Patriots' current run. Who'd want to play there?

Derek Anderson, from your neck of the woods, was a pro bowler after going 10-5 in 2007.

His agent couldn't have gotten him more money than we did.
