As others have said the NFL had no real evidence and they were pissed that Tom didn't turnover his phone and he destroyed, I wouldn't have turned over my phone either, I wouldn't trust that someone would put out other crap I had on my phone.

Why would you give him hell? If he drafted a capable backup for the first 4 weeks, then Brady would have done better than 90% of the other QBs in weeks 5-17. I would have done it if he fell to me.

They asked him to provide the phone info to his attorney to see if it had texts about deflation. Are you saying Brady can't trust his attorney?

By real evidence you mean there was no witness admission, or video tape of Brady being caught on camera? Well no ****. It's a completely circumstantial investigation, and one that the Patriots went out of their way to hinder.

There was plenty of evidence, most notably the text messages, that shows the pattern that Brady had those guys deflate footballs and gave the dude memorabilia in return.

The problem was in the procedure with how the league moved forward with Brady, and the judge picked it apart.

I think the team penalties are completely warranted, especially when they wouldn't allow the 2 equipment guys to be made available for any follow up interviews.

The league owners wanted Goodell to make an example of Brady/Patriots, and they went all in for it. But any time this **** gets into the hands of a judge, you better hope you crossed every t.

This is what happens when you rely on the Feds to make a decision about ethics.

I don't root for injuries for specific players.......but if something were to happen to Brady I'd probably smile just a little bit.

Not deflating balls, but altering them, which is essentially what deflating is.
