They need things to argue about so they just come up with stupid claims with no basis all the while smearing people like Chip through the mud. Since it's not a 'report' the rules or ethics of journalism (for lack of a better term) don't apply. I blame ESPN as much as I do Steven A.

99.99999% of running backs in the NFL are black. When you cut one you replace him with another black guy. There are white wide receivers but hardly any running backs.

His whole logic in defending his position was outright dumb.

The guy needs to look in the mirror and make sure he isnt feeling up those racist shoes himself.

Could Chip/Eagles have grounds to file suit for defamation? Especially if Gore backs out of his deal.

Putting aside the public figure issue for moment, he hasn't said anything that would be considered defamatory.

Stephen a Smith knows exactly what he's doing. Sadly, he is paid a lot of money to do it. It's especially pathetic because when he's not playing a character, he seems like a somewhat intelligent person.

Read the article on PFT yesterday. His whole argument is Kelly cuts black guys but keeps Riley Cooper.

Frankly they should have cut Cooper. It was a mistake in keeping him IMO.

He's trying to drive ratings to his radio show. Just look at his Twitter postings. I too hate this whole sensationalism approach or debate for the sake of debating
