"Wade's job is safe."

Sadly it is for the rest of the season. Jerry has stated publicly that he will not make any rash decisions until the end of the season. He said that includes any coaching changes. It appears that Jerry's pride has killed this team.

What's the point of bringing in a coach now to a team that is 1-5 with their starting QB out?

Time to ride this wave out and see what turns up next season.

If they are going to be bad this year anyway they might as well start learning the new system early.

Nobody he's going to target is going to be available until the off season. If Wade is fired now, Garrett would be made interim HC, and I'm not sure that solves anything...

And then have to pay both the new guy and the outgoing guy??? Financially there is no way Jerry is going to make a move before the end of the season, and even then it will not matter so long as the GM still has his job

Me neither...as I stated previously, it doesn't really solve anything...

If Wade wasn't the DC, I could see it happening.. but still not likely.

How many NFL head coaches have EVER been fired mid-season? The dude from the Lions went a full 0-16 two years ago. That kind of thing would never happen in baseball or basketball. Its not a common practice and for good reason. Football teams are nothing without continuity from beginning to end. Even if you suck you'll probably be worse after a coaching change.
