I was watching the Path to the Draft thing on NFL Network earlier and decided to make my first mock draft in about 5 years.

7. Cleveland Browns – Earl Thomas, Safety, Texas
8. Oakland Raiders – Mike Iupati, OT/OG, Idaho

10. Jacksonville Jaguars – Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
11. Denver Broncos – Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama

I did it in like 8-15 minutes so hopefully i didnt list anyone twice, mess up their position or college or screw up the order. I had a couple of ppl falling, a couple of reaches, but assuming no trades - maybe something like this may occur.

I Think-
-Eagles will move up and get an impact player
-Browns will trade into the 1st again (With Dallas) and take McCoy


And Who I think Cowboys will try and target
2nd Round – 59th Pick – Charles Brown, OT, USC or one of the top 5-6 OTs
3rd Round – 90th Pick – Ben Tate, RB, Auburn - if he falls this far, he's been moving up
4th Round – 125th Pick- Hunter Lawrence, K, Texas - May be the most important pick of the draft
6th Round – 196th Pick- Jacoby Ford, WR, Clemson - fast Slot receiver
7th Round – 234th Pick – Scrub who won’t make the team

If Joe Haden falls to the Texans I will be sooooooo happy, I think we will end up with Wilson at 20...

I don't think Bulaga falls to 14, and I don't think Cody gets into the 1st round...

The raiders will draft either clausen, berry, spiller (fastest), or bruce cambell(most athletic(fastest) lineman)...

Besides those, I generally agree with most of it...

It's as good a mock draft as any. The actual draft has several things that go completely against what most mock drafts show and I like how yours tries to change it up a bit. For example, CJ Spiller going that early is not what anybody has for Seattle... but I can definitely see Seattle thinking he is their guy and that they can still get a HIGH quality OT with their next pick.

I also agree that it is HIGHLY likely a team will trade up into the first to reach for Colt McCoy... and a reach it will be!

i agree its a good mock draft.

the types of "runs" on a position you have in there happen more often than not.

i think Jacoby Ford goes a lot earlier than the 6th.

he's been getting lotsa pub and i see a team in the 4th at the latest jumping on him. slot speed is the big thing in NFL offenses these days and he's got it.

unless the qb was a peyton manning type, I would never take him #1 overall over a d-lineman like Su.

always take thw dominant linemen whenever you have the chance because games are won and lost in the trenches.

Pierre Paul is going to get paid if he goes to Atlanta and Green Bay in the first round

I would rather have Kyle Wilson over Joe Haden. I think the 49ers have Haden higher than Wilson on their board

1/3 of the first round Big 12?

That's what I was laughing about, the first four picks of the draft could legitimately be Big XII players, 3 from the south...

That said, Bradford goes number one, with suh and mccoy the next two...

I hate mock drafts cause they don't allow you to trade, i like the thread that is going on over in football other for that, its a bunch of people putting one together representing different teams...
