I thought they were tied with Tennessee and then followed by Dallas?? You really never know, but based on last year's result, it's tough..

Good home games this year though..

has anyone looked at what the toughest schedules ended up being after each season? curious if they correspond with the preseason rankings.

Well, I don't think our strength of schedule should change too much

6 games against the division, which is always tough even if they're not good. Titans and Colts should be good as always -- not sure on the Jags but they were tougher than expected last year and in the playoff race until week 17.

NFC East, which is always tough:
Cowboys, Redskins, Eagles, and Giants are good every year, although eagles and giants MIGHT be taking steps back and who knows if the redskins will be funcitonal enough to take a step forward

AFC West, which should be reasonably easy:
Chargers (very tough), @Broncos (touch road game), Raiders/Chiefs (easy)

And then just to put the cherry on top -- Ravens and Jets round out the schedule.

That means we have a game with every single AFC playoff team from last year except for the Patriots.

Oh and since all week 17 games are now division games, I really hope we draw the Colts. That way -- either its a badass game that will decide the fate of the division, or the Colts sit Peyton Manning and we get an easier schedule.

Yet another reasone for the Texas to make excuses and claim, "NEXT YEAR IS OUR YEAR!!!!!".

No, seriously, that is a tough schedule. The Cowboys don't have it easy either. But the reality is that injuries and teams just falling apart play a big role every year. Just asked the teams that had to play the Rams the first year Kurt Warner was forced into the starting lineup... I bet that was penciled in as a gimme at first!!!!!

The schedule is pretty insane this year, both home and away.

Our season ticket holders are pretty excited about the teams that are coming to Reliant this season.

Cant wait til this afternoon to see how the schedule looks

Damn, it'll be a great season if the Texans can win 9 of those.

We all knew it was going to be tough, but damn it looks even worse when you put it on paper. Must be better than 1-5 in the division this year.

@Broncos (touch road game),

No.

Their defense fell apart after a great start, Quinn is the new QB (toss-up) and they just lost their big threat Brandon Marshall.

Obviously you have to see how the season goes, but I'd inch that one more to the win side.

The problem w/going into Denver in December is potential bad weather. I wouldn't call that one a W yet. But be glad we get the Redskins in Week 2 before Shanahan & McNabb are likely to get things going.
