How long do you want to ignore this user?
A friend of mine just graduated with an undergrad degree in speech pathology. She is moving to Houston and looking for a job. I don't know very much about this particular field so I thought I'd ask on here. Does anyone know of any job openings or any connections in the Houston area?

Thanks for your help,
Clint

By the way, she said she is looking for an assistant speech pathologist position.

If houston is anything like Dallas, she won't have trouble finding a job in a school district.

Contact the hospitals in Houston, I'm sure they have openings for Speech Pathologists.

i dont know much about speech pathology in the houston area, but i do, however, know that Auburn Alabama is in dire need of PE coaches and Dentists. I think maybe you should talk to the wife, weigh out your options, and pack those bags.

Houston has a clinic or something there for SP, and there are only three of them in the country.

I didn't know A&M offered a speech pathology program. My sister had to leave after her freshman year and go to UNT in Denton because A&M didn't have a program then (1999). Your friend might have to look for a school district position, because from what my sister says, you need a Masters to be competitive for the hospital jobs because that is where the real money is at. Now, if your friend is fluent in spanish, that definitly ups her value quite a bit too, especially in TX.
