How long do you want to ignore this user?
I'm looking around and finding tons of openings that I know I qualify for. I'm looking for laboratory work at hospitals, pharma companies etc. I'm graduating this upcoming May. For this field, would it be too soon to start sending out resumes now???

no I don't think it would be too early. At the very lest you would have your name out there who knows when it comes to april you might have a job already lined up. Then you can just slide through the rest of the semester.

The Career Center recommends you register with them 2 semesters prio to gradutation...so now is perfect.

I don't have any kind of certification but by the time I graduate I will have been working in a lab for two years doing PCR, electrophoresis, cell staining and other things. I am also part of an in progress published paper. I'm hoping this will help put me above other entry level applicants.

I told myself I wouldn't register with the career center because they were absolutely zero help when searching for an internship but I went ahead and did it because of the what if's. I'd rather be safe than sorry if they happen to have a few job postings in the career area I'm interested in.

I'm also not being too picky. I'll pretty much take anything just to have a job. Then after things get going there I'll look for the type of job I want.
