How long do you want to ignore this user?
Hello everyone,

My SIL is looking to transition out of plant work. He has his bachelor's and masters from TAMU in Chemical Engineering and is in his 5th year in his current role at his plant in the Houston area.

He is looking for opportunities in process or safety engineering. He would like to stay in Houston and is willing to travel. Any leads or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks & Gig'em

if he's got background in process safety, there are a number of consultants in houston that work in that arena. that can sometimes be a way into a major or otherwise if you work for them on a contract or project for awhile. just an idea to keep in mind if he likes that field.

recommend also visiting the mary kay oconnor conference in Oct to check out any job opportunities and networking
