Howdy yall,

I'm a fourth year educator looking to transition out of education and into a private sector role.

My undergraduate degree is in economics, but I took a number of accounting and finance classes as electives. I do have a background in data analysis (I am very experienced in coding in R and have some skills in Python, SQL, etc), and I have a solid background in anything relating to economic/financial modelling. I am familiar with energy markets (I grew up on the edge of the Powder River Basin and Bakken), and have leadership experience (department chair at the school I teach at). I teach advanced math on my campus, and have coached so I am no stranger to working long hours to get the job done.

Open to any and all roles (sales, finance, data analysis) and also willing to get familiar with any skills needed for a given role. I've got 4 months to pick up anything that could be valuable! If you have any leads on anything aligned with that, my email is ryleyconstable [at] gmail.com. Based out of San Antonio, very willing to move anywhere in the TX or South, and looking to start a new role in June.
Still pissed off about the sip game? Me too. Donate to Texas Aggies United today to support championship-level rosters. https://texags.com/united/subscribe

You've got more than 4 months. The school looks out for themselves; you've got to look out for yourself. That's the first thing you have to do - change your mindset. I left the same school in the middle of the year two separate times, and they did fine. They even Hired me back after the first time.

Network with people that you know, that is the first thing to do. Revamp your resume. Networking is usually what will get you the job.
I know a lot about a little, and a little about a lot.
