I run a manufacturing facility that produces munitions for the department of defense (among other things). It is my family business. Sadly accounting has never been my strong suit. I'm looking for a partner I can pay by the hour to help me scrutinize our quarterly and yearly numbers and help me figure out where I need to trim fat and so forth. We aren't large enough to have an in-house accounting team but I could use the services of an accountant quite often. We could have monthly Teams calls to go over everything and if needed I can give you access to our ERP system or just send you whatever financial information you need.

I'd love to work with an Aggie who has accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. I don't think you need to be near our facility in Marshall, TX. I'd ask that you sign an NDA before you start looking at our financials and other information. Our facility is almost 65 year old and has roughly 40 employees.

Local accountants seem so consumed with tax season and their other costumers that it's hard to get time with them. I'm hoping to find a team mate I can work with moving forward to help me decipher the numbers.
