Posting this on his behalf for greater reach. I am happy to make a direct connection if needed.

I'm looking to explore new career opportunities to see what's out there. I hold an Associates in Aerospace Maintenance, a Bachelors in Electrical/Computer Engineering, and a Masters in Electrical/Computer Engineering.

Before engineering, I spent 8 years working in the U.S. Air Force, where I excelled among the highest-performing Crew Chief mechanics. Deploying to the Middle East in a combat zone taught me to be cool under pressure and how to collaborate well in teams with a diverse set of skills. I inspected and maintained all aircraft systems (3-phase high-voltage electrical, structural, mechanical, high-pressure 3000 psi hydraulics/pneumatics, avionics, satellite communications, and F-108 jet engines). During my years of service earned a rare 100% mission success rate, a flawless quality assurance record, and was awarded for "honorable actions taken averting $633.6 million in catastrophic damages".

As an engineer, I have worked on mechanical and electrical problems in signal processing, time-series analysis, mechatronic controls, and machine learning. Funding for these projects has come from the Department of Defense, University research, and NASA. A strength I hope to bring to the team is the ability to problem solve both from foundational physics as well as experience as a real-world technician to know how designs can be implemented in real situations.

I currently live in Brownsville, Texas, and am looking for engineering opportunities in the Rio Grande Valley or remote work. If an opportunity is exceptional, I am open to relocating within the state of Texas.
