- Evaluates and documents client's business processes, requirements, and software acceptance criteria
- Great at working with clients to elicit requirements, often anticipating requirements that are confirmed with the client
- Able to design, optimize, and re-engineer business processes
- Conducts meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings with delivery team and client
- Ability to document requirements in a variety of formats, including user stories
- Ability to document requirements as use case diagrams
- Effectively communicates at all levels of the organization
- Conducts requirements analysis to ensuring solutions meet business needs and validating that gaps in requirements are addressed
- Partners with development team to conduct quality assurance testing
- Plans and leads user acceptance testing
- Experience participating and/or leading change management efforts
- Updates, implements, and maintains procedures
- Prioritizes development activities based on business needs and requirements
- Serves as a liaison between stakeholders and the delivery team
- Manages competing resources and priorities
- A bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
- Advanced technical skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook
- A track record of following through on commitments
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
