BAR Constructors, Inc. is a general contractor performing municipal water and wastewater projects in the North Texas Area. The Company is seeking an experienced Field Project Manager.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Supervise field office personnel and overall project operations.
Supervise submittal review, procurement, and expediting
Plan, coordinate, and prepare field operations to successfully meet schedule needs
- Administer and coordinate vendors and subcontractors
- Create project schedule and maintain accuracy and monthly updates
- Develop schedule of values and cost codes with estimating
- Review and negotiate contracts with estimating
- Represent BAR and review issues with the owner and engineer
- Approve monthly pay applications
- Project cost review, production reporting, accounting, and improvement
- Maintain accuracy of job cost logs
- Maintain documentation in all aspects
- Owner communication, change pricing, coordination, issue resolution
- Comply and assist with all safety rules and regulations, be alert to all safety considerations, and coordinate concerns with staff
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a four-year degree in Construction Science or Engineering or related experience
Five to Ten years of experience with municipal projects involving earthwork, concrete structures, yard piping, exposed/process piping, and treatment plant processes, equipment and materials.
Skilled with spreadsheets, Primavera scheduling software, and project documentation
Comfortable with all aspects of the typical management of a construction project.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
Planning, coordinating, and preparing the field operations to successfully meet schedule needsField quality control, as-builts, and project close-out
- General vendor and subcontractor administration and coordination
- Material and equipment submittal review, procurement, and expediting
- Field take-off and procurement
- Coordinate and inventory deliveries
- Project scheduling and payment reviews
- Project cost review, production reporting, and accounting
- Owner communication, RFIs, change order pricing and coordination
Safety
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a four-year degree in Construction Science or Engineering or related experience
One to five years experience with earthwork, concrete structures, yard piping, exposed/process piping, and treatment plant processes, equipment and materials
Proficient in reading plans and specifications
Experienced with equipment / material review and approval
