New to the TexAg forums, so maybe this has already been posted...

I am currently in the National Guard here in Texas, but I have been working on writing screenplays, have an original one completed and working on more! Looking to build a network of contacts for sending my material out so was wondering if anyone knew people in the film industry? I know we have a great visualization program, so looking to see what other mutual connections there may be!

TCTTS is a regular on the entertainment board that is in the business. Good luck.

Here's what most people who want to "make it" in "The Business" do:

• Pack your stuff into your car and drive out to LA.
• Plan for 3 months of rent at The Oakwood. (Looks like Studios are going for $1720/mo, 1bdr - $2094/mo)
• Hang out at the Starbucks at the corner of Pass and Oak with your Mac and your screenplay.

Or, if you've got money for $8 Coca-Colas, you can hang out at the Writer's Bar in the Raffles hotel in BH.
Of course with the current shutdown orders still in place, I recommend waiting until Starbucks is open again.
In the meantime, start with S1E1 and binge watch the first five seasons of Entourage.
