I e-mailed the Petroleum Engineering department at A&M and asked which FE exam I should take. They didn't have any suggestions for me. I've also contacted the state engineering offices and TestMasters with no useful answer. The guys I work with that have their PE all took the FE exams 20+ years ago.

For PETE engineers on here that took their FE exams in the recent 5 years, which test did you take? For reference, I'm out of school 14 years. I'm leaning toward the Chemical Engineering exam. That test has a high pass rate and a lot of my classes had chemical engineering students in 'em.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Take the easiest for you. Most PETEs take the other disciplines test though.

Also,ChemE is probably one of the hardest test and has a high pass rate because only super nerds take it.
