ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the management of inventory control to achieve an accurate perpetual inventory count and protect company assets.
Maintains, develops, and implements procedures that ensure the highest levels of inventory accuracy are achieved while minimizing the amount of shrink incurred.
Organize, implement and maintain product bar code scanning system.
Interfaces with the Warehouse personnel to ensure warehouse employees comply with all inventory control procedures including the receiving, returns put-away, selection, and product recoup processes.
Interfaces with Shipping personnel to ensure shipping compliance.
Ensure proper warehouse slotting to promote successful shipping operations and customer order fulfillment.
Responsible for the training and cross-training of all members of the inventory control functions.
Receive inbound materials into the system (purchase order receipt) and/or oversees appropriate personnel.
Responsible for issue of raw material to production and performing appropriate inventory transactions in system.
Schedule all pick-up and delivery appointments.
Reviews daily inventory reports for possible errors and reports information to Finance, Operations, and Purchasing departments.
Provides weekly comparative numbers on inventory adjustments for all damages to include the names of those areas in which damage was reported.
Provide reports on all delivery shorts, warehouse shrink, cycle inventory, out of stocks, and any other miscellaneous adjustments.
Participates in the recruiting and training of warehouse personnel.
Responsible for performance management and development of warehouse personnel.
May be involved with vendor returns and invoicing.
May be involved with the filing of claims with RDC.
Assists in the Product Recall process.
Helps to ensure that the Company is HACCP compliant.
Maintain personnel relations through regular department meetings; maintain on-going interaction; keep open communication channels with employees by answering questions and explaining policies and procedures; monitor employee morale; and submit ideas and response to ideas to improve employee engagement and enablement.
Interprets, trains, and consistently enforces Company policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required
Inventory control experience preferred
Experience in a food manufacturing/distribution environment preferred
Supervisory experience preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software, and the ability to learn technology software and programs.
CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be properly trained and licensed in the operation of powered industrial equipment as appropriate.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 90 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work typically is performed both in an office and warehouse environment.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to extreme temperatures below 32 degrees; and sometimes below zero degrees for short periods of time.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Working hours could extend beyond normal business hours depending on varied workload.
