One of the commercial guys in INV is an aggie and we used to work in the same department. I can pass on the questions, but not sure if he would be able to answer.

I am mostly curious in what they are looking for as it relates to the open position. I would be interested in interviewing if they had the ability to move my resume to the top. I am currently an Exploration Geologist for a mid-sized operator, but I am feeling a bit unchallenged where I am. I've been at my current position for almost 8 years, and I've been very successful. I was quite excited when I read the job description, and thus, thought I would ask if anyone had contacts within the group.

If any contacts would be willing to review and forward my resume, I would appreciate it.

BTW, I was referring to geoscientists as both geologists and geophysicists because I do both in my current role.

Is that the only company you will consider?

Kgftball34, thanks, but I am specifically interested in this position with Anadarko.

The guy I know won't have any more specifics than what is in the job posting. The only thing I can say is that the experience years are typically a firm cut off and if there is a questionaire after you submit online be sure to fill it out "correctly" or you will be cut before anyone sees your resume.
