Back when HP used to be Compaq, and even till a few years later when it became HP, the Houston location had a lot going on. What about now? I know they have scaled back manufacturing and moved it offshore, but how about areas like product development (software and hardware)?

I saw that they are now leasing part of their campus to North Harris college.

Massively scaled back from what it once was in the 80's. They've consolidated real estate significantly, and the manufacturing operations are offshore. However, a lot of hardware engineering, testing, and software development is still present at the facility.
