Just received an e-mail from Dr. Adkisson about the Tanner Fund for this Spring with Professor Dye. Just wondering if there was anyoen out there that has actually done it and what you thought about it. I have to actually make it first, but it is very high on my list of things to do.

Comments? Pros? Cons?

One of my favorite courses at A&M.

Dr. Dye is a great professor and a great person. He genuinely interested in the students and will take the time to have one-on-one discussions with you.

It's a challenging course, but can be extremely fun as well. If you are interested in the financial markets, its a great class.

I'm going to have to try and get an in some way besides grades alone. Mine are not very hot right now and I'll try and use some of my other strengths to hopefully get in. I'm very interested in the class and am very interested in financial markets.

Go meet with Dr. Dye in person. If you go over the requirements and show some interest in the class, that should help you with the selection process.
