I was hoping I could get some advise. My son had planned to live with a classmate next fall in on-campus housing. He submitted his housing application on the first day it opened last fall, but his friend waited until late March and ended up on a waiting list. So, I doubt his friend will even get a spot. We have had very limited luck using the roommate pool selector. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

It might be too late - dorms already assigned - but usually the first one to sign up and bring the second roommate over. Our daughter got dorm sign up on first day and her roommate who would've been 4 days later got to sign up with her.
