Either, neither, or both?

A+ ... Ali is amazing

A+... though for Chem 107, you don't really need it.

I will never forget the fact that one whole page on my CHEM 107 test was word for word on one of the review sheets. So very nice to be guaranteed a full correct page.

I need it for 107! and went to both, wont favor one over the other.

whats wrong with 4.0? ive never been to A+ but after seeing everyone post that its better I may have to make a quick switch!

4.0 is more for business and A+ is more for science and engineering

A+'s FINC is 100x better than 4.0's. I was a TA in FINC and it was amazing the quality differance we could see btwn the 2. With that said, its really more the tutor than anything. Both 4.0 and A+ have tutors that specialize in certain areas. Doug at 4.0 is very good at ACCT. 4.0 also provides great MGMT reviews. However, because of the large classrooms, it is difficult for them to teach FINC because their setup is very impersonal.

I've used both in the past and prefer A+

(calculus/physics/chemistry)

A+ got me through Cal, Physics, Ochem, and thermo

4.0 helped me pass 2 semesters of business stat - I desperately needed the help since stat was so incredibly boring I could not make myself attend the actual classes.

Arf for Math and Physics is great at 4.0.

Neither, they are both a waste of time and money.

^^^no...i went to one of his physics and it SUCKED. Ali at A+ is by far the better.

Who was/is the FINC tutor at 4.0 when A+ was/is better? The guy that tought FINC at 4.0 when I was there (Fall '07) was awesome and the guy at A+ sucked.

I'd really say it's more about the teaching style you prefer. A+ is just doing problems over and over until you get it where 4.0 is much more laid back.

arf is better comedian by far than ali

I never been for Chem 107 but I like 4.0 way better for most engineering classes (calculus classes, physics etc). Arf keeps you paying attention with humor in between.

The guy at A+ always seemed snyde and arrogant to me (took him for phys 202 - cuz 4.0 didn't offer it).

If it isn't Arf teaching it at 4.0, I would go to A+ or TutorJohn (although tutorjohn ppl are not the coolest ppl either). When you take stat, nothing compares to Tutorjohn.
